Accommodation in Athens

Athens is a major capital city: the total urban area, including suburbs, is above 3.5 million people. It is also the major transit point for business visitors and tourists entering the country or transiting via Athens International Airport or the Ports of Rafina, or Pireaus, or the many marinas in the area.

The recent growth of tourist arrivals means that September remains a busy tourist month, so it is strongly recommended that accommodation is booked in advance. Booking engines such as Airbnb or Booking.com are reliable and well-established. If you require personal travel services, please contact Mid East Travel, our official travel partner.

Please note that we cannot advise you directly on accommodation, but can provide some general guidelines to support your stay.
