The France-Greece Chamber of Commerce and Industry, founded in Athens in 1885, is a network of French and Greek companies and entrepreneurs active for 135 years whose main missions are to:

 

• Constitute a body representing the business interests of both countries;

• Contribute to improving the image of France and mutual Franco-Greek understanding;

• Provide concrete support to French/Greek companies in their prospecting efforts in Greece and France.

• Promote trade and commercial flows between France and Greece in order to accelerate the development of French and Greek companies. To do this, the CCI France Greece has five objectives:

• Animate the Franco-Hellenic economic community

• Support companies in their efforts to set up in Greece and France

• Increase their visibility and boost trade flows

• Represent the interests of its members to the public authorities of both countries

• Be the spokesperson for the Franco-Hellenic business community

 

The CCI France Greece, a private association under Greek law that is entirely self-financed, now brings together nearly 350 members, member companies, including 2/3 Greek companies and 1/3 French companies, involved in the growth sectors of the economy in Greece. This diversity ensures its strength and value.

 

The CCIFG is a member of the CCI France Internationale network (Union of French Chambers of Commerce and Industry Abroad), an international network bringing together 124 French chambers of commerce in 93 countries. The CCIFG also maintains close relations with the CCIs of the Metropolis with which it carries out joint operations.

 

Since March 2017, the CCI France Greece has represented the delegation of Promosalons, the Global Partner Network of French trade fairs, in Greece and Cyprus.

 

The CCIFG has dynamic and competent staff at the disposal of its members and clients in conquering a market.

 

The Chamber of Commerce and Industry France Greece works closely with the Head of the Economic Service at the French Embassy in Greece and France and the Greece Section of the Foreign Trade Advisors of France for optimal management of the needs of French and Greek investors and exporters.

 

The CCIFG is the forerunner of collaboration with cultural services. Thus, it works closely with the Cooperation and Cultural Action Service (SCAC) and the French Institute of Greece (IFG) in order to coordinate their activities to better serve the public in Greece, in particular the member companies of the CCIFG.
