Organized and Sponsored by FORTECH Romania

Introduction
Romania has emerged as a dynamic and promising destination for tech sector investments, driven by a combination of skilled talent, competitive costs, and a rapidly growing digital infrastructure. Renowned for its strong STEM education, the country boasts a robust pipeline of highly qualified software developers, engineers, and IT professionals. Bucharest, Cluj-Napoca, and other cities have become tech hubs, attracting both startups and established multinational companies. Additionally, Romania's strategic location in Eastern Europe offers easy access to EU markets, while its favorable tax incentives and government-backed initiatives further enhance its appeal to tech investors. Originally a centre for “onshore” tech outsourcing, Romania is now major rapid strides into digital transformation and innovation, and currently boasts two tech unicorns: eMag and UIPath.
