The Athens Tech Summit highlights the impact of technology on society, business and government. The focus of the 3-day Summit includes exhibitions and demos of the complete deeptech technology stack: from SaaS startups and artificial intelligence to driverless cars, robots, drones and more.
The Summit has seven main components, including a high-level Tech Policy Conference; 2 days of DeepTech panels and sessions; Tech Parades including drones, driverless cars and robots; a Startup Competition; Tech Awards; and Masterclasses.
While the Greek tech ecosystem has been attracting nearly $ 1 billion in investments each year, Athens does not have a major, international technology and ICT conference and exhibition. Moreover, the rapidly-evolving Eastern Mediterranean and SE Europe region does not yet have a specialised forum for tech-related business intelligence and networking.
